Midlife Nutrition.

Meet Judy

I don't want to be 30 again.

I want to be strong at 60. Capable at 70. Independent at 80.

And I want the same for the women I work with.

I came to nutrition in midlife myself, after experiencing firsthand what it feels like when your energy changes, your body changes and what used to work suddenly doesn't.

At the time, I was working in construction project management and living a busy life. I was exhausted, I'd gained weight, felt inflamed and didn't feel like myself.

I sought the help of a nutritionist, and that experience changed much more than how I ate. It changed the direction of my career.

At 51, I went back to school to study holistic nutrition.

Today, as a midlife nutritionist, I help women understand what their bodies need now and how nutrition can support the lives they want to keep living.

Nutrition isn't just about what your body weighs.  It's about what your body allows you to do.

Judy Prete, Certified Nutritional Practitioner

You can't control everything about getting older.

But you have more influence over how you age than you may realize.

You can't change your genetics or stop time. You also can't control every hormonal or physiological change that comes with midlife.

But there are things you can influence:

How you nourish your body.
How you support and protect your muscle.
How you manage your blood sugar and metabolic health.
How you sleep, recover and move.

Nutrition is one of the most powerful places to start because how you nourish your body is something you can influence every single day.

Not through perfection, restriction or another set of rules. But by understanding what your body needs now and focusing your effort where it can make the biggest difference.

There is still so much we can influence about how we feel, function and live, today and in the years ahead.

Eating well doesn't need to be complicated.

Most of the time, I start with three essentials: protein, healthy fats and fibre.

Together, they create a simple foundation for building satisfying, nutrient-dense meals that help you

feel fuller for longer, support steadier energy and blood sugar, manage cravings, and protect the muscle that you need to stay strong and capable

as you age.

Because the goal isn't to eat perfectly. It's to make eating well easier to do in real life.

A simple place to start

Experience you can trust

My approach combines evidence-informed nutrition with practical coaching designed for real life.

As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner and Holistic Perimenopause and Menopause Coach, I bring specialized training in midlife nutrition, metabolic health and healthy aging to my work with women.

Before becoming a nutritionist, I spent years leading complex healthcare and medical education projects. That experience still shapes how I work today: I ask questions, look at the whole picture and turn complex information into practical steps that make sense for the person in front of me.

But credentials and experience are only part of what I bring to this work. I'm also a woman in midlife thinking about many of the same things my clients are thinking about.

How do I stay strong?

How do I protect my health?

How do I keep doing the things I love?

Those questions are at the heart of the work I do.
